Janet, your courage inspires me! What a wonderful blessing you are. I’m always amazed how diligent you are in all that you do and I really enjoy your interesting pictorial way of writing.
How blessed we are that God doesn’t offer or accept bribes!
Janet, I’ve discovered that God is certainly very much against bribery. When money or something valuable is given or offered with a view to corrupting the behaviour of a person it is a very serious sin in God’s view. I think therefore a better verb than bribe is encourage. Certainly holy God longs for us to always encourage our children to do the right thing!
I love how much you treasure John 3:16. As you point out there is no coercion, manpulation or bribery involved in God’s gracious offer of eternal life to His creation.
How blessed are God’s creation that they can hunger and thirst to put their faith in courageous compassionate Lord Jesus and His perfect atoning sacrifice. May God continue to richly love and bless you Janet to His glory.
